The Bandsaw BS-270-SM is a compact and economical single-mitre bandsaw. This model is suitable for garage hobbyists all the way up to small and medium output fabrication workshops alike.
Despite being the smallest metal cutting bandsaw in the current range, the BS-270-SM mitres up to 60° one way, with a great capacity for its size. In addition to this, with a 20mm blade depth and manual blade tension adjustment. The BS-270-SM will give perfectly straight cuts time after time.
Despite its good capacity, this bandsaw still benefits from using a single phase motor. This means it can be powered almost anywhere. As with all DIMAKIN horizontal bandsaws, the BS-270-SM comes standard with an automatic stop when the blade reaches the bed, meaning you can spend your valuable time doing other things in the knowledge the machine will stop when cutting is complete.
Likewise, if manual control is required, you can switch from hydraulic to manual descent with the flick of a switch. An inverter-driven blade allows precision control between 20 – 85m/min. This control ensures the perfect cut every time, while also maximising the life of your blade.
Lastly, a self-contained coolant system is a standard feature. This further prolongs the life length of your blade and ensures a lifetime of industrial quality cutting.
